First, find the water.
The source of every analysis is the water bill itself. Upload a bill as a PDF or a photo, and Aflaj reads the meter readings, tariff blocks, and billing period directly from the document. Paper bills, scans, and phone photos all work, because the extraction step is built for the way Tunisian utility bills actually look. Enterprises go one step further and connect IoT sensors that stream 3 signal types continuously: flow, pressure, and temperature. Bills give the monthly picture, sensors give the live picture, and both land in the same account, so costs and readings are always comparable. Nothing else is required to start: no special hardware for households, no long onboarding for enterprises, just the document that already arrives every month, or a small sensor kit for sites that need minute-level visibility.
02 · The channel
From input to action.
Aflaj runs every bill through one analysis flow: guided extraction confirms the meter readings, tariff logic prices each consumption block with the official utility rates, leak scoring compares expected and observed usage, and forecasting projects the next period. Report figures trace back to confirmed inputs, so every number in the final document can be checked against what was uploaded. The pipeline stays the same for households and enterprises: 5 steps from input to action, covering extraction, confirmation, analysis, recommendation, and reporting. Because the steps are explicit, an unusual total can be traced to the block that caused it, and a correction to one input re-runs the analysis in seconds without manual recalculation. The result is a report that explains itself, in English and Tunisian Arabic, with the money behind every line shown in Tunisian dinar.

03 · The basin
One product, clear paths.
The basin is the product view of the whole water system. Aflaj is a water intelligence platform: one product that serves both sides of the water bill. Households upload a bill and receive a report with named consumption drivers, priced with the official tariff, and a short action list for the next month. Enterprises add IoT sensors for 3 signal types, flow, pressure, and temperature, and get dashboards, alerts, and monthly operational reports across their sites.
